Voices of Fabric. A residency with Andrei Becheru
A research-and-creation residency in which photographer Andrei Becheru gathered over eighty interviews and photographs from Fabric, later assembled into the first issue of the neighbourhood newspaper "Voices of Fabric".

Andrei Becheru — photographer, co-founder of the FOC collective, based in Bucharest — came to Casa Jakab Toffler for a research-and-creation residency, within the project "Făcute în Fabric — Impuls în comunitate".
The residency meant, above all, time spent in the district: over eighty interviews with residents of Fabric and a wide series of photographs, about how people live here and what they remember.
The gathered material was assembled into the first issue of the neighbourhood newspaper "Voices of Fabric", a publication the house carried on in the years that followed.
