On 30 September 2022, the courtyard of Casa Jakab Toffler hosted "Casa cu maimuțe", Basca Theatre's documentary-theatre piece about the stories of the Fabric district and of the Ștefania Palace — the building Timișoara calls "the house with monkeys".
