In her research residency, Macrina Moldovan set out to capture the confluence of tensions around the urban regeneration of Fabric, and of the Piața Traian area in particular, within its diverse socio-economic context.
The analysis follows how people picture their district, how they experience its evolution over time, and where they place themselves in relation to recent transformations — those affecting the look of the place, but also the economy of its space.
Macrina Moldovan is a socio-anthropologist, born in 2000 in Târgu Mureș. She studied at "Babeș-Bolyai" University in Cluj-Napoca, where she earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology (2022) and later a master's in Advanced Sociological Research.
