A visual-anthropology inquiry into Fabric's small commercial initiatives, which produced the interview with "Tanti Gabi", published in "Voices of Fabric" #2.
The shop on the corner does not only sell bread: it is where the neighbourhood keeps up with itself.

Sorin Valea mapped the small commercial initiatives of Fabric: the tiny corner shops that have stayed open alongside the supermarkets. His visual-anthropology research followed what happens inside them beyond the selling — the social role of a space where neighbours meet almost daily.
Among other things, the residency produced the interview with "Tanti Gabi", published in issue 2 of the newspaper "Voices of Fabric".
