Carnaval de Traian. A residency with Arhiva de Sunet
The team behind the documentary podcast Arhiva de Sunet spent two weeks in Fabric with their microphones open. The result is a forty-minute special episode about Piața Traian.

Paul Breazu, Ionuț Dulămiță and Mihai Lukács make a documentary podcast called Arhiva de Sunet at Centrul Dialectic. In the summer of 2023 they spent two weeks in Fabric, with their residency running across the second half of the year.
They were after three things that overlap in the same district: the pop-cultural narratives passed on by word of mouth, the community histories that never reach an archive, and the real-estate pressure that changes, year by year, who can still afford to live here.
The result is a special episode of about forty minutes, "Carnaval de Traian (Timișoara, 2023)", published in February 2024. In it you hear architect Radu Radoslav, film director Florin Iepan, architect Bogdan Demetrescu, district manager Marius Olan and women living around Piața Traian.
