The project begins from a simple, age-old gesture: building an oven from brick and clay. The traditional materials of the place, kneaded and laid by hand, become the pretext to rediscover an almost-forgotten craft and to bring people together around work and fire.
At the centre of the story is writer Vasile Leac, whose presence ties clay and brick to word and imagination. The oven is not just a useful object but also a meeting place, where the practical and the artistic gesture overlap.
Beyond the concrete result, the project speaks about heritage and about how vernacular techniques can be recovered and passed on.
